As the inborn hardware security of on-chip fingerprints, PUF (Physical Un-clonable Function) is currently a very popular research topic. PUF has several important characteristics: randomness, unclonability and robust-ness. It can be used for unique identity of each chip, generate a key as a static entropy pool and protect the secret of each chip. Today's speech will focus on what PUF is, design concepts and various types, and finally will introduce eMemory's NeoPUF and its related applications.
