Attribute-Based Encryption for Secure Communications and Networks
摘要 Abstract
Attribute-based encryption (ABE) enables fine-grained access control by embedding access policies into encrypted data. This talk introduces the fundamentals of ABE and discusses its role in secure communications and networked environments, including IoT data sharing, cloud-assisted services, vehicular networks, healthcare systems, and metaverse platforms. It explains how ABE can reduce the burden of user-by-user permission management while supporting privacy-preserving data sharing and flexible policy enforcement. The talk also addresses practical challenges such as computation overhead, revocation, and deployment in real-world systems.
