Outsourcing data to a third-party platform, such as the cloud, broadens the scope of data sharing and analysis for decision making while lowering transmis-sion and storage expenses. However, it is detrimental to the owner's data secrecy since honest-but-curious platforms provide access control. Although the en-cryption approach ensures data protection, its inher-ent all-or-nothing decryption impedes data delivery. In this talk, we will cover critical threats and some po-tential ways to minimize security attacks.
