Nowadays the developments of computing for AI impact IC industry. We are moving from a Tera-scale computing era to an exa-scale one. Exa-scale computing refers to computing systems capable of handling up to a billion of billion calculations per second; that is, one million times more than Terascale computing. This talk will discuss the implications of this trend, the move from Tera- to Exa-scale computing, on the semi-conductor industry, and in particular on the huge demand it will generate and how it will shape the future of electronics industries.
