Mobile devices are small size, powerful computing capabilities, and the increasing amount of personal and business data accessed by and stored on these devices. Mobile devices offer opportunities to make employees more productive, but, as with any new technology, inherent vulnerabilities and the ease with which adversaries can exploit those vulnerabilities make a significantly risky and challenging endeavor. So this research is typically described as an information security policy on smartphones, tablets, and smartwatches.
