New Drug Discovery in the Era Precision Medicine

In 1990, an international effort was launched to coordinate the mapping of the human genome. Since then, medical scientists have placed great effort to annotate the information of life, DNA. The results have transformed the way medical scientists translate the basic research to clinical application. In this seminar, I will share how we have used various modern biotechnology techniques to collect large amount of data. And, how we were able to use the data to extract out the mechanism of actions from a series of new compounds, that have anti-cancer activities.
