Rules from CSE
  1. At least 61 credits from professional required courses
  2. At least 30 credits from professional selected courses
  3. At least two correct answers in any Collegiate Programming Exam(CPE)
  4. In addition to the university-wide requirements on the number of credits for graduate study, the department requires that at least 30 of these credits must be for graduate-level courses from the department. Among these 30 credits, there must be at least two professional elective courses from one specific area the department's curriculum planning structure.
Rules from NSYSU
  1. 28 credits of General Education are required for graduation. (Notes: courses like Exercise and Health、National Defense Education and NSYSU General Education Lectures are not included.)
  2. Students are required to either pass one of the English Language Tests approved by NSYSU or acquire 4 credits from “Basic Education: English Language Ability” courses.
  3. For students who need to take courses from General Education, please consult General Education Curriculum Planning/Structure which provides the requirements to be met for courses taking in different divisions.

  1. Minimum credits to graduate: 28
  2. No more than 6 Credits from Independent Studies will be included in requirement credits for graduation.
  3. In “Two out of Five” course section, students are required to complete at least two subjects by the time of graduation.
  4. In accordance with university-wide graduate school requirements, students must enroll in the course "Academic Research Ethics Education".Without successfully passing this course, students cannot apply for their thesis defense.

  2. For students of the Joint Master’s and Ph.D. program, 40 credits are required for each candidate.
  3. In accordance with university-wide graduate school requirements, students must enroll in the course "Academic Research Ethics Education". Without successfully passing this course, students cannot apply for their thesis dissertation defense.
