【Scholarships】 Fall 2020 NSYSU Scholarship Application for International Students (Fall intake Bachelor and Master Students only)

Eligibility:

★For Master students who entered NSYSU in Fall 2019

Master students must: have undertaken at least one course in the previous semester;

possess an overall GPA of at least 3.38 (or 80%);have no record of misconduct; and, if no grades for the semester previous to the thesis writing period are available, present reference letters from advisers and a thesis proposal.

★For Bachelor students who entered NSYSU in Fall 2017, Fall 2018, Fall 2019

Bachelor students must: have taken at least nine credits in the previous semester; possess an overall GPA of at least 2.44 (or 70%); and have no record of misconduct.

 

Scholarship Duration and Limits:

2020.08.01~2021.07.31,Scholarship approved yearly and reviewed each semester.

Master: monthly stipend of TWD 12,000

Bachelor: monthly stipend of TWD 6,000

 

Required documents:

  • One official transcript in Chinese (*required) (get it at Administrative Building 6F, Office of Academic Affairs)
  • One recommendation letter (*required for Master students, if electronic file is applicable. If not, please hand in hard copy for letter in sealed envelope to Melissa in AD1006 before application due date.)
  • Supporting documents (*optional)

Steps to apply and submit required documents:

1.   Log in by your student no. and course selection password

2.   Upload required documents (PDF) online

  • One official transcript in Chinese (*required) (get it at Administrative Building 6F, Office of Academic Affairs)
  • One recommendation letter (*required for Master students, if electronic file is applicable. If not, please hand in hard copy for letter in sealed envelope to Melissa in AD1006 before application due date.)
  • Supporting documents (*optional)

3.     Submit (make sure you click on “Submit for Review” button)

**The scholarship quota and stipend amount will depend on the school budget.

**The number of awardees is limited to 10% of the applications of bachelor’s students and 50% of the applications of master’s students from each college for every semester. However, each department (independently funded and managed by departments program) is limited to ten students for every academic year. Scholarship amounts and the number of awardees shall be adjusted in accordance with the funds available and the numbers of applicants.
